Steve’s main strength as a photographer lies in his ability to tell a story through imagery and capture intriguing moments in time that all too often go unnoticed. He often plays with colour and negative shapes to create compositions that are unpredictable and charged with a healthy dose of his trademark wit.
London born, Steve moved to Australia in 2001 after finishing his studies and cutting his teeth with some of the UK’s top commercial photographers. Steve regularly travels to find stories that challenge and inspire him. In 2013 Steve went to Uganda to photograph abandoned children on behalf of the UK charity, Child’s i Foundation.
His work is often showcased in Australia’s industry journals and awards. His latest personal project ‘A City Unpolarised’ debuted at Black Eye Gallery in November and was selected to be exhibited at this year’s Head On Photography Festival.
Steve’s commercial clients include HSBC, Toyota, Fujitsu, 3M, Virgin Australia, Panasonic, Visa, Campbells, Harley Davidson, Canon, Jim Beam and Vodafone.
