I love to tell stories. When I’m not shooting commercial work, walking the dogs, ferrying my kids around or making a pie, I look for interesting people or places to focus my mind and camera on. I love images with depth and contrast, and I’m always aiming to deliver a narrative through my work. It keeps my job energising and challenging, and results in images that evoke a response.

In the 20 odd years I’ve been a photographer and now director, I have become adept at drawing out someone’s character. Whether I’m working with seasoned professional talent, a ‘real’ person or first timer in front of the camera, establishing trust is my number one priority. Gaining their confidence allows me to tell a story through their performance that’s authentic and it is ultimately the key to delivering stand-out work.

Over the years, my commercial work has been commended at various industry awards. My personal projects have exhibited in galleries around the country, and published in industry magazines and journals.

Areas of operation: Based in Sydney and work throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. I also shoot locally for international clients and agencies.
